Compass

Compass Accelerator

Compass is Founderland’s investment readiness programme for entrepreneurs preparing to raise capital. Over six weeks, founders gain the strategic clarity, materials, and confidence to pitch and fundraise on their own terms. The programme is delivered virtually, culminating in an in-person Demo Day in Berlin.

Past speakers include:

  • Arlan Hamilton, founder of Backstage Capital, which has invested nearly $30 million in underrepresented founders

  • Samira Ann Qassim, VC and former tech entrepreneur, now backing female-led tech companies through Pink Salt Ventures

  • James Church, bestselling author of Investable Entrepreneur and COO of award-winning agency Robot Mascot

  • Dr. Stefanie Schubert, professor of economics and certified negotiation advisor with expertise in game theory and executive coaching

Each cohort receives expert-led support on storytelling, investor conversations, financials, term sheets, and data room preparation—without having to code-switch or compromise.

Portfolio is Founderland’s most hands-on fundraising programme—built for women of colour founders already raising capital and ready to move from ‘in conversation’ to ‘committed’. Where Compass helps you prepare, Portfolio helps you perform.

Over 12 weeks, we work with you to assemble a complete, investor-ready data room—beyond the deck. Think: deal memo, financial model, cap table, term sheet, diligence docs, and your investor pipeline. Then, we make the intros and help you close.
